Ana Cenevska – a solfeggio professor
She completed her secondary music education in the DMBUC Ilija Nikolovski-Luj and continued
her studies at the Faculty of Music in the depratment for choir conducting in the class of Prof.
Sasho Tatarchevski.
She has won many awards, amongst which the most significant are the following: the First
Special Prize at the State Competition for Solfeggio in 2005; the First Prize for the Best State
Mixed Choir in 2008; the First Prize for the Best Mixed Choir in Cracow in 2010; the First Prize

for the Best Mixed Choir in Warsaw in 2012; as well as numerous awards at competitions in
Italy, Austria, spain, Sweden, etc.
She has worked for the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, participating in the performances of
Tosca, La Traviata, Turandot, Penelope X. The Tales of Hofmann, etc.
She has also worked as a solfeggio and repetiteur teacher at the secondary music school within
the DMBUC Ilija nikolovski-Luj and as a music teacher in the SOS children’s village in Skopje.
She has been a memeber of many choirs, including the choir conducted by Zapro Zaprov, the
Youth Choir of the Youth Cultural Center, the Zlata Meglenska Choir and currently she is a
member of the professional choir Pro Ars.
