Magdalena Poposka, a graduate from the Faculty of Music in Skopje, was born on 15 May 1994
in Skopje.
Her elementary and secondary education she completed in the class of Prof. Natasha
Malinovska and her university education in the class of Prof. Oleg Kondratenko.
As an excellent and talented student she took two years in one at the secondary music school.
Her success only continued and she has won awards at state and international competitions.
In addition to her awards for violin performances, she has also won awards for solfeggio and
chamber music on a regular basis.
Among her more important awards are the following: the third Prize at the International
Competition Mozartiana M in May, 2006; the Second prize at 8th the International String
Competition in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia in May, 2010; the First Prize at the International
Competition Ars Kosova in Prishtina in June, 2010; the Second Prize at the 9th International
String Competition in Sremska Mitrovica in 2011.
In 2010 she held two solo recitals in Tetovo and Stip.
In 2011, she performed as a soloist with the orchestra of the DMBUC Ilija Nikolovski-Luj in
Skopje.
She has participated in the festival held in Burgas, Bulgaria and she has attended violin seminars
held by eminent professors such as: Semmy Stahlhammer, Peter Sheppard Skarved, Nigel
Clarke, Anton Sorokow, Jova Jordanova and others.
